Daddy

Hi baby, Daddy here. It’s Father’s Day tomorrow. I just want you to know how much I love and miss you. Life doesn’t feel right without you here. I know you’re here, but I just wish I could cuddle and hold you, make you laugh like I do your brother. I hope you know life hasn’t carried on. It might feel like that but not an hour goes by I don’t think of you. I know God has better plans than this world. I’m so grateful I got gifted with you and your brother. I know you’re watching over us. I just hope you hear me talking to you, I hope you know how much I love and miss you. I’m coming to see your special place tomorrow. I know you live at home with us and go where we are, but this is your place, this is where I come to get peace from the world and sit and remember our times together, and all the memories we are still to make as a family. I really miss you baby. I wonder what you look like and how big you’ve gotten. I’m sure you’re walking now, just like your little brother. Thanks for always keeping that little monkey in check and watching over him darling. He loves you so much and often points to pictures of you and your name on our fridge and says “Blu” hehe. A huge part of me is missing forever. But it is with you. It will always be with you Blu. My Father’s Day doesn’t exist without you or your brother. Mum asked me what I wanted for Father’s Day, I don’t want anything, I already have everything this world has to offer and more. My two gorgeous boys and your amazing mummy. The only thing I’d want is to hold you again, and that day will come son. Keep showing me signs you’re there baby. I love it when you speak to me. Thanks for making tomorrow and everyday so special. Everything I do, the reason I keep going is to make you proud. You showed me more strength than any other human on this planet. Gods strength. The world was lucky to have you, and I even more so. I learnt and grew more in those 24 days with you than the entirety of my life. I’m forever striving to be just like you son. So strong, so noble, so powerful, so blessed. I can’t wait for the day we meet again baby. Say hi to all the other angels with you, tell my grandad I miss him so much too, I think about him lots and lots. Say hi to the people who I never got chance to meet, like my other grandad. I’ve heard many stories and I bet you’re having so much fun! When you have a spare minute, do come by and say hello to us baby. I know you’re busy with all your toys and causing mischief, but seeing your signs truly lights up my world. I love you more than life itself Blu. If I can be half the Mann you are, I’ve succeeded in life. Keep chasing those rainbows as nana would say, may your light shine brighter than anything else.
